I’ve heard all the hype about the Nivea Post Shave Balm being an amazing makeup primer. So I finally decided to try it out for myself. I want to see if it’s worth the hype. I hope it is because it’s very inexpensive.
Stay tuned for my thought on this product.

Hey everyone!! So I recently picked up some Essence cosmetics at Target. Usually I would wait a little bit longer before I do a review on something I just hauled but this foundation is amazing and I knew that after the first time I used it. Plus it’s only $4.99. Yay!!!
Here is a before picture
Here is the after with the foundation
I have the NYX Photo-Loving Primer on underneath.
This foundation makes my skin look amazing and it lasts all day. I also tried it without the primer and it still held up really well. I didn’t notice it breaking down or oxidizing. Which are two of my biggest turn offs.
One thing that I think makes this really good is that it gives the skin a soft focus look that helps blur out any imperfections. It’s a medium to full coverage and it was more of a full coverage on me. Usually when a foundation is full coverage, it feels heavy on my skin but this felt light weight.
Here is the final look without any filters.
I will definitely be repurchasing this foundation. I have been looking for a holy grail foundation and I think I found it.
Just remember, what works on my skin may not work on yours. That’s one thing I always try to remember when reading reviews.
Have you tried this foundation? What are your thoughts?

Hey everyone!! Yesterday I had a doctors appointment and to make myself feel better about it, I decided to play around with my makeup. One of my favorite things is just sitting down and not really having a plan and just playing with makeup. It’s so relaxing.
Here is the look I can up with, it’s nothing to crazy. I’m still trying out the Essence Cosmetics from my previous haul.
I’m trying to get better at taking pics, especially of my eye makeup. If anyone was any tips or tricks, please share.

Hey everyone, in my recent Walmart Beauty Box I received the Dove Dry Oil Moisture body wash. I was really excited because I’ve been looking for a new body wash.
From the Walmart website
I love Dove body wash because it doesn’t dry out your skin. It leaves it feeling soft and smooth.
This Dove body wash is a little different. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled like a household cleaning product. I was grossed out by the smell, I almost didn’t use it, but decided that I should at least try it.
When I poured it on my pouf it didn’t get that sudsy but usually body washed with Moisturizers in them don’t suds up as much as regular body washes. As long as it does the job, I don’t care about the suds.
After washing, I did notice my skin was softer but I just couldn’t get past the smell. I even thought that maybe my sample of body wash was bad.
The formula is great but the smell is to much for me. I won’t be purchasing a full size but I do love Dove brand body washes.
Did anyone else notice the smell was a little off or was it just me?

So we are off to church this morning. I decided to try out my Essence makeup that I hauled yesterday. I have to say I’m very impressed. I will have reviews coming up soon.
I also decided to chop my hair off. I know, very random..lol
So I took a pair of cooking shears and went to work. I cut a lot off and I think it looks really good.
I also used the NYC palette that I bought at the Dollar Tree. I have to say it is so good. I love when I find a great deal.

Since I found out about Target selling Essence Cosmetics, I just had to go back a grab some goodies.
Let check out the goodies.. My favorite part..lol
They had another foundation but they didn’t have my color in the line, so I thought I would check this out. It’s a natural matte finish. I hope it’s good.
10 Heat Wave
They only had two shades and I thought both of them was so pretty. I actually loved them both but I have a spending limit. I know, I’m sad too..lol
Look on the bright side
This is a cream to powder highlighter. I’ve heard really good things, so I’m very excited to play around with this..yay!!!
I’ve heard a lot of great things about their mascara. I’m always on the hunt for a good mascara.
12 Blush My Lips
Long lasting lipstick and the color is gorgeous. I swatched it on my hand and wiped it off. It stained my hand. I even washed dishes and the stain is still there, so I’m very excited.
I also bought one thing from NYX.
Tea & Cookies
I have been wanting to try this forever. I’m so flipping happy the Target got some in stock.
That’s it for my haul. I can’t wait to try all these products out and review them for you guys.
