Wet n Wild Geometric Highlighting Powders Review

Hey everyone!!

Today I’m reviewing the Wet n Wild Geometric Highlighting Powders. Wow, that’s a mouthful.

The shades are-Where the dreamers go, Sun ceremony and Desert exploration.

Here is what the Wet n Wild website description says

Our gorgeous Geometric Highlighting Powder looks even more beautiful on your cheekbones! Get that radiant glow by swirling all the shapes together and applying to the highest points of your face.

Here are the swatches of all three highlighters.

As you can see I’m very pale and the highlighters barely show up. I don’t think this is the best highlighter for cheekbones but I have been using these over blushes to give them a little sheen.

I was watching Nicole from Young, Wild and Polished and she said, that she heard these are suppose to be like the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. That you are supposed to sweep it all over your face for a soft-focus look. Here’s the link to Nicole’s video if you want to check it out. The video is titled, disappointing products. So you can see how she feels about these highlighting powders.

I’m also disappointed in this product. Maybe it would have worked out better if I wasn’t so fair but still all three of them didn’t work. I’m probably going to give them away or try to use them in some way. I don’t know. I’m glad these are limited edition and hopefully won’t be a permanent product.

*Don’t forget that everyone has different opinions and what doesn’t work for me, my be amazing for someone else.

Makeup of the day and Weekend Fun.

Hey everyone!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. It was a nice long three day weekend for Memorial Day. My husband works seven days a week, so it was nice having him home for three days.

This weekend we spent Saturday with family going to a BBQ and Bon Fire at my In-laws house. It was so much fun but the weather was very unstable. It would be gorgeous one minute and then the next pouring rain. Plus, it was very hot.

This is the makeup I was going to wear to the BBQ-

I wanted to wear a fun bright eye, so I used the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon Palette. For the pop of blue color on the lower eyelid, I used L.A. Colors Jumbo eye pencil in Pool Party and of course on my lips I’m wearing Katy Perry for Covergirl in Crimson Cat.

So, the makeup stayed on my face for maybe an hour. We went to Kroger to pick up food for the BBQ and I was sweating so bad, I decided to just take it off and not wear any makeup.

So, here is the after..lol

Oh well.. Lol
Here are some random pictures from the weekend.

It was so nice spending time with family this weekend. Very relaxing but it’s back to reality.

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Thanks for reading my post. I will have a review up later today.

Wet n a Wild Megaglo Multi-Stick Review

Hey everyone!!

I think I’m almost done with all the Wet n Wild limited edition reviews from my giant haul. I think I might have 3 more to do, so I guess I’m not almost done..lol

Today I’m going to review the Wet n Wild Megaglo Multi-Sticks.

The shades are Marigold Round, Carnational Anthem and Light Up My High-biscus.

At first I wasn’t going to purchase these because, I thought I wouldn’t like them but I actually, like them a lot.

I think these are perfect to use as a cream blush, especially when you are in a hurry in the morning. They have some shimmer to them, so they really give your cheeks a nice summery glow.

These are a little sheer, so you don’t have to worry about them being to bright but perfect for the beach or picnic and would look amazing with a nice tan. I’m very pale and they also looked great on my skin ton.

In all my Wet n Wild face of the day posts, I wore this as blush and the shade Marigold Round makes a perfect cheek highlighter.

Since these are multi-sticks, you can also use these on your lips for a little sheer color.

These were one of my favorite products that I picked up from the limited edition items. I highly recommend you check these out if you can still find these.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Very Small Target Haul and Review

Hey everyone!!!

So, I was having a little anxiety and my husband knows that buying lipstick makes me feel better. I know, I’m weird but it really does calm me down. That’s why I have a million tubes of lipstick and lipgloss. Lol. So we stopped at target and I went in to find the perfect lipstick.

This is the lipstick I picked out, the packaging was calling my name. It’s the Katy Perry for Covergirl Matte Lipstick in Crimson Cat. It’s a gorgeous matte red.

So gorgeous and it is so comfortable on your lips. It does transfer but not that bad and it stays on for a long time. I’m in love!!! I will be buying more of these adorable lipsticks.

And of course while I was there, I thought I would check out the Wet n Wild display and I’m so glad that I did…..

I have been wanting this blush for a long time and could never find it anywhere. It’s the Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombré Blush in a Purple Haze.

This is the perfect light purple that would be perfect for any skin tone. It has a slight sheen but it’s not glittery. I love the Wet n Wild blushes. They stay put and always look amazing.

Makeup Revolution Haul

Hey everyone!!

Yesterday, my daughter and I went shopping with a friend and had so much fun. I love outside malls.

Here is my daughter looking at the big fountain. Mattie had so much fun.

Of course, while we were out shopping I had to stop at Ulta and pick up some goodies. They are having a sale on Makeup Revolution, buy one get one 1/2 off. I’ve been hearing so many good reviews of this brand that I just had to try it out. Plus, I had a coupon for $3.50 off $15. I had to use it before it expired. These are the excuses I tell my husband..lol

So, let’s get started!!!

Focus & Fix eyebrow shaping kit in medium dark

The one thing that I have the biggest problem with are my eyebrows. They decided that they had enough of my face and packed up and left. I have to make do with the brows I have left and that’s not many. I will try anything that will help make them look full-ish because they are never gonna look full..lol

Vivid Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights

I’ve heard so many good things about this highlighter and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I did read last night that if you spray your setting spray on before you apply your highlighter, it will make your highlighter pop. Next time I do my makeup I’m going to try this out.

Ultra Blush Palette in Sugar and Spice
I don’t have many blushes and I’ve been eyeing this palette for awhile now. I think the colors will be perfect for my pale skin tone. I also like the mix of shimmer, matte and baked blushes.

Last but not least-

Salvation Palette in Unicorns Unite

First of all, the name of the palette is so cute. This has a perfect mix of matte and shimmery shades that are perfect for Spring/Summer. I can’t wait to play with this gorgeous palette.

That’s all folks!!!

I will be doing reviews and makeup looks using all this gorgeous makeup. I also wanted to add that with everything being buy one get one 1/2 off and my coupon, I only spent $21 on all this makeup. Yay!!! I love a good deal.

Also, I will still be reviewing the Wet n Wild makeup from my recent haul posts. So look out for those!!

Thanks again for taking the time to read my post.
