Hey everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. I’ve been in a slump lately. I’ve haven’t lost or gained weight in a month. It’s crazy..lol I have even tried to shake things up by joining Itrackbites. Still hasn’t helped. I’m thinking maybe I should go back to low carb. That has worked for me in the past but it’s hard for me to sustain. I will let you know how it goes.
Some other fun updates…. Yesterday was my 8th wedding anniversary. We went out to dinner and then came home and played Just Dance. It was a lot of fun. In less than a week, my daughter is going to be 6 years old. Where does the time go? We also have a new furry member of our family. A bunny named Oreo. He’s the sweetest little bunny.
Another thing that I want to do is start making more beauty related blog posts. I really miss creating fun beauty posts.
Thank you all for taking the time to read my post.
Hey everyone, I finally broke my stall and lost a couple more pounds. Yay!!! I have added a few things to my daily diet to help with my weight loss.
Here is a typical day of eating.
I start with a cup of coffee, I use sugar free creamer and sugar substitute. Then I usually have 2 eggs and 2 pieces of the Sara Lee 45 calorie bread. I love bread and will never be able to give it up.. lol
Its not really a snack but I have a cup of green tea. I have really seen a difference by drinking just 1 cup a day.
For lunch I have a big plate of fresh veggies. Usually cucumbers, sweet mini peppers and carrots. I eat them with ranch dressing and tajin. Sometimes, I will add so cheese and crackers. Cheese and crackers are one of my favorite snacks.
For dinner, I usually have a protein like chicken or pork and a veggie. I really love baked potatoes, so I will occasionally have one. I hate cooking, so I love simple recipes.
I like to snack on fruit, granola bars and cheese and crackers.
I had a revision from gastric sleeve to bypass in August 2020. So, I can’t eat a lot and that really helps. I’ve lost 43 pounds since August. Its a lot slower to lose weight with a revision than with your first surgery. But I’m not giving up on my health.
Hey everyone, I made this amazing burrito bowl recipe yesterday and it was so yummy, that I have to share it.
1 pound of ground beef
Half an onion chopped
1 can of corn drained
1 can of black beans drained and rinsed
1 can of kidney beans drained and rinsed
1 can of rotel
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 packet of ranch seasoning
1 cup of rice.. I used brown rice
Chicken or beef broth
Brown the ground beef and onions, drain grease. Add all ingredients and cover in the broth. Simmer and stir occasionally, so it doesn’t burn. Once the rice is cooked, its ready to serve. If all the liquid cooks off and the rice is still not cooked all the way, just add more broth or water.
I added cheese and sour cream to mine. Only 341 calories without the topping and its so yummy.
Hey everyone… it seems like everyone has a side hustle these days. I’ve tried everything from direct sales to making and selling jewelry.
A couple months ago, I decided I wanted to try my hand at some passive income. I’ve always been creative and I thought I would make SVG files and sell them on Etsy. I’ve been doing this for a couple months and made a little bit of income. I’m hoping this year to build up my store, so I can have a bigger income coming in.
The blessed SVG is my most popular product. If you have a Cricut, check out my shop.
Hey everyone… I hope everyone is doing well in the new year.
I’ve been sticking to my calorie deficit diet pretty good. I still stick between 1200 to 1900 calories a day. I even eat pizza but limit myself to one piece. Since starting this way of eating, I’ve lost the 5 pounds I gained over the holidays. I also don’t feel deprived of food.
One thing that I’ve been trying to do is only eat between 12 and 8. Sometimes I only last until 11 but I will get there.
For breakfast, I’ve been eating a dupe of the McDonald’s egg Mcmuffin. I add an extra egg for more protein. This comes to 399 calories. I track all my meals in My Fitness Pal.
For lunch, I’ve been enjoying Progresso light soups. The whole can of the potato, bacon and cheese soup is only 200 calories.
For dinner one night we ordered Chinese takeout. Instead of going for the sweet and sour chicken like I usually do, I opted for chicken and veggies. Plus, portion control is key.
Hey everyone, my amazing husband bought me Revel nail goodies for Christmas. I’ve only used it once..so here’s my thoughts.
I did Some research and found that the gel method was easier and you don’t have to file as much. I like easy, so that’s the route I took..lol The application was very easy, I was a little afraid at first.
I should have filed them before I applied the top coat but I forgot. I also applied 2 layers of top coat but only 1 coat is needed. They still turned out better than I expected.
The thing I need to work on is filing and not using to much base and top coat. Overall, I’m very happy with how they turned out. Dips used Revel purple reign and silver bells. I can’t wait to change my colors.
Hey everyone, so today I’m going to share some of the meals and snacks that I eat in a day to lose weight. I’ve tried so many diets throughout my life and nothing sticks. When I deprive myself of certain foods, I tend to fall off the wagon.
I’m starting the new year on a calorie deficit diet. This has been such an eye opener. No more depriving myself of fruit, bread and carbie food.
I started this journey a week ago and have lost 3 pounds. The first thing I did was use a calorie calculator to determine how many calories I need to consume to lose weight. To lose weight, I need to eat 1983 to lose weight and 1487 to lose weight fast. So, I’ve been staying between those two numbers.
For breakfast, I like to eat eggs for protein, i also like the Sara Lee Delightful bread. I think the bread is only 35 calories. Since I had bariatric surgery, I need to make sure I get enough protein.
For dinner, I made this amazing meal that my Grandma used to make. Meatballs, one can of cream of chicken soup, one can of cream of mushroom soup and a bag of frozen mixed veggies. Throw it all in a crockpot and you have a whole meal. I did serve it with mashed potatoes. So yummy!!!
I like to keep my snacks simple. Fruit, crackers and cheese and veggies. Sometimes I will have chips but in moderation. Everything in moderation is the key. I make sure to measure and weight out my food, so I’m more accurate with the calories.
I would love to share my journey with everyone. I will be posting my what I eat, once a week.
