Makeup of the day 1/19

Hey everyone, if you’ve been following my blog than you know I love makeup. My blog started off as a beauty blog. So, of course I’m going to still share my love of makeup

I love bright colorful makeup. Today, I was feeling adventurous and went for a fun mermaid look.

OMG!! This eyeshadow palette is amazing. There’s 18 shadows and retails for $9.99 on Amazon.

This palette is so buttery and pigmented. I love that you can do a bright and neutral looks.

I highly recommend this palette, especially since it’s only 10 bucks, you can’t go wrong.

Small Ulta Haul!!

Hey everyone,

The other day I went to Ulta to buy a new concealer. You can never go in Ulta and buy just one thing lol. If I had the money, I could do some damage in that store. I’m lucky I got out with only 3 items.

I went in for the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define concealer. I’ve been hearing some amazing reviews and wanted to check it out for myself. I have the worst dark circles and it’s my life’s mission to find an amazing concealer. Review on this soon.

I’m a little obsessed with the smell of roses. So when I heard that Philosophy came out with a rose scented perfume, I just had to buy it. This smells amazing. It’s called Pure Grace Nude Rose. They had another one called ballet rose that smelled even better. Next time I will be buying that one.

Ulta was having a really good clearance sale. I found this little Rimmel palette for only $1.47, regularly $6.99. I could have stayed all day just looking through all the clearance makeup lol

That’s my small haul. One day I will have a huge haul, just kidding, my husband would kill me lol

LipSense Review 💄

Hey everyone,

If you know me, then you know that lip products are my favorite makeup item. So when my friends started talking about LipSense, I just had to try it. I’m not a distributor but I do love the product.

What is LipSense- It is a long lasting lip color. It’s not a lipstick or a stain. It’s a completely different product that bonds with your lips on a molecular level.

What is in LipSense- LipSense is made from natural materials that are good for your skin. It’s made in the USA and contains no wax, lead, gluten, animal byproducts or GMO’s. It’s also vegan and cruelty free.

How long does it last- One application of LipSense can last 4-18 hours. One tube of LipSense can last up to 6 months if you were to use the same color everyday. One tube equals to 4 tubes of lipstick.

How do you apply LipSense-

I currently own 3 colors of LipSense. Starting from the top- Roseberry, Lexie Beary and Fly Girl. So far Roseberry is my favorite.

I suck at swatches and those are going to be on my arm all day..lol

When you first order LipSense you buy the starter kit. In the starter kit you receive the color of your choice, glossy lipgloss and oops remover. The starter kit costs $55. After you order the starter kit the lip color is $25 and lipglosses are $20.

If throughout the day your lips start to feel dry, just apply some of the lipgloss and the dry feeling will disappear.

I’ve really fallen in love with LipSense. I love that it’s long lasting, especially since I’m a busy mom and don’t have time to be worrying about my lipstick rubbing off on my daughter. I can literally kiss her all day and won’t see any of my LipSense on her face lol.

One thing I do need is more colors. They have over 70, so I shouldn’t have a hard time find more colors to love 💕< strong>My friend Becky is my LipSense “dealer”. Wet N Wild Eyeshadow Palette Look and Review!!

How’s everyone today? Here in Michigan it’s snowing like crazy. I’m sick of winter..lol

If you read my last post then you know that I just bought the New Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes. I’ve been playing with them a lot and I love them. I think Wet N Wild in general is an amazing company. They make wonderful products and keep them affordable.

So, I will start with the look I did using mostly Wet n Wild products.

I started out by priming my face with Wet n Wild Coverall face primer

Next I used the Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation

Next I used the Megaglo Concealer stick and blush stick.

After that I used the Halo liquid highlighter on my cheekbones.

I set everything with the Wet n Wild Photofocus pressed powder.

My eyebrows were next. I used Makeup Revolution eyebrow palette.

I primed my eyelids with the Wet n Wild eye primer.

I used the new Wet n Wild Rośe All Day eyeshadow palette.

I used the dusty rose shade in my crease and the dark rose shade on my lids. Then I put the dark burnt orange shade on my lower lash line. I used the lightest shade as my brow bone highlight.

I sprayed my face with the NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray

I used the Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara and then finished off the look with Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in the shade Lover

I really like the new Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes. The formula is wonderful. They are very pigmented and blend wonderfully. I love the color selections, you don’t normally see those types of shades in drugstore eyeshadows. I definitely recommend trying these palettes out for yourself. They are only $4.99!!!!

Makeup Haul!!

Hey everyone,

It’s been a hot minute since I bought any new makeup. I’ve been having withdrawals, especially seeing all the amazing new products that are now available. So here is my first small haul of the new year. I will be doing reviews on these products soon.

Wet n wild hello halo liquid highlighter- I was so excited when I finally found these at Rite Aide. I bought the 2 lightest shades in halographic & halo, goodbye.

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in lover. I’ve heard so many good things about this liquid lipstick.

Maybelline total temptation mascara in very black- I wonder how this will stack up against my favorite Lash Paradise Mascara. Maybe I will have to do a comparison.

That’s my small haul. I can’t wait to play with this new makeup and do some reviews.

Blogmas Day 10- Skincare Routine!!!

Hey everyone,

So, I’m gonna be honest with you, I don’t wash my face everyday and sometimes I leave my makeup on while I sleep. Since I’m getting older, I really need to start keeping up with my skincare. I don’t want to look like the walking dead by the time I’m 40..lol

Here is my skincare routine!!!

First I use the Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser to clean my face. Then I use the Pixi Glow Tonic to tone my skin. It’s also exfoliating which makes my skin glow.

I use the Pixi Rose Oil Blend to help with my skins luminosity and I love the smell lol

I end my skincare routine with L’Oreal Reviralift. This stuff is amazing, it’s anti-aging, which I need. Plus, it moisturizes like a dream..lol

There you go, that’s my skincare routine. I swear this post is not sponsored by Pixi. Lol

Blogmas Day 8- Makeup of the day!!

I feel like I’m running out of stuff to write about already..lol. This will be a short post.

Yesterday, when my husband got home from work we had to run out to pick up the plate for my new car. Then we went out for Chinese and some shopping. It was a lot of fun. Our daughter was cracking us up at dinner. Matties hilarious!!

Blogmas 2017- Day 2- Makeup of The Day!!!

Yesterday my Sister, my daughter and myself went to the mall in search for a present for our 14 year old niece. I felt really old because I have no idea what 14 year olds are into..lol

Here’s My Makeup From Yesterday-

I started out using Maybelline Matte + Poreless foundation.

Next I accidentally used my Maybelline Fit Me powder before I applied my concealer..lol

Younique Mineral Touch Skin Perfecting Concealer- Yay, I remembered the concealer. I just used this under my eyes. I love this concealer. I did set it with powder afterward.

Avon True Color Luminous Blush in Plum Pop.

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer- I’m so pale that I need to use bronzer just to look alive.

Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eyebrow Shaping Kit- My eyebrows are disappearing, so slapping on some eyebrows is a necessity.

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon Palette- I applied Earl Grey to my lid and blended it out with Almond Truffle. Then I applied Dark Truffle to my lower lash line. I put Cafe Au Latte to the center of my lids. I used Divinity to highlight my brow bone and inner corner.

L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise- I love this mascara. I love how I can only apply one coat and get amazing volume.

NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray- I sprayed this all over my face. This is amazing and helps my makeup from disappearing throughout the day.

NYX Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder in Lavender Steel- I applied this to my cheekbones to make them pop.

Lipsense in the shade Lexie Beary
