How I Wear Blue Eyeshadow

Hey everyone,

So, wearing blue eyeshadow can be a little tricky. You don’t want to look like you just rolled out of the 70’s and 80’s and you also don’t want to look like Mimi from the Drew Carey Show. I feel like there is a thin blue line that you don’t want to

One of my favorite ways to wear blue eyeshadow is placing it along your lower lash line. It gives you a really pretty blue pop.

Here I am rocking a touch of blue on my lower lash line.

Another way I like to wear blue eyeshadow is by placing it on the inner 2/3 of my lid.

Here I’m wearing the Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette in Not a Basic Peach. The combination of the peach and blue look beautiful together. This gives you a really nice blue look without covering your whole lid and making it look dated.

Those are the two ways that I have found work the best for me.

What is your favorite way to wear blue eyeshadow?

DIY Lavender Face Toner

Hey everyone,

Lately I’ve been obsessed with essential oils. I love using them to make skincare and household products. So, when I found a recipe for face toner, I just had to try it. It’s so easy to make and smells amazing.

What you need?

  • 2 ounce spray bottle
  • Witch hazel without alcohol
  • Vitamin E oil
  • Lavender essential oil

In the spray bottle add 1/4 a cup of witch hazel, 2 drops vitamin E oil and 5 drops lavender essential oil.

Don’t forget to put on a pretty label (I didn’t have a pretty label 😦 ) and shake it up before each use.

1 or 2 sprays in the morning and at night.

Makeup of The Day!! 2/16/18

Hey everyone,

Yesterday I was supposed to go on a date with my husband but we decided to go to his parents for dinner instead. I still wanted to do my makeup all pretty. So, I decided to use my Too Faced Bon Bon Palette. I haven’t shown this palette love in awhile.

I went for a more natural look but added a little bit of sparkle to my lids.

Here’s what I used-

I used Almond Truffle and Cashew Chew in the crease. Satin Sheets on the lid and then Mocha and Bordeaux on the outer corner. On the bottom lash line I used Almond Truffle and Bordeaux.

I used 1993 from my Urban Decay lip palette.

A very easy look using one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes.

What’s your favorite eyeshadow palette?

Wet n Wild Eye Look!!!

Hey everyone,

I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day. My husband brought dinner home, which was amazing. Love him more everyday.

So, I did this look awhile ago when I first purchased the Wet n Wild in Not A Basic Peach palette and forgot to share.

This palette is so pigmented and blends wonderfully. The colors are great for blue eyes. Wet n Wild’s eyeshadow palettes are amazing.

I love how they threw in the blue shade. It’s great for adding a pop of color to your lower lash line.

I mostly used the two peach shades. Which I’m sure you can I then used the darkest shade in my outer corner and the blue shade on my lower lash line. I also placed the dark pink shimmer shade on my inner half of my lib but you couldn’t really tell I had any shimmer on my lid.

I added some black liner to my waterline and some mascara. Very easy!!!

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in the color Ruler on my lips.

Hopefully I will be posting more makeup looks and reviews. Thanks for reading my post.

A little bit about me!

Wow!!! It’s been almost 2 years since I started my blog. So I thought I would give everyone an update on my first blog post.

My daughter Mattie is almost 3 now. It’s so crazy, it seems like just yesterday I was writing about her being 10 months old.

My husband still works two jobs but one of those jobs is new. It’s very exciting because he loves his new job.

I no longer sell paparazzi jewelry but we do still sell Scentsy. We’ve been selling Scentsy for 2 years and still love it.

Check out our website-

My favorite hobby is still makeup. I don’t think I will ever stop loving it. Is that weird? Lol

One thing that’s new is that I’m starting a health journey. I had the gastric sleeve a year and a half ago and I still have a lot of weight to lose. It’s so easy to put weight on but very hard to take it off.

That’s about it, nothing has changed that much in two years. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or bad thing lol

Thanks for reading my posts. Wow!! 2 years of blogging.

Hello everyone!! My name is Amanda. I’m a wife and a mother to an adorable 10 month old little girl named Mattie Elizabeth. My family is my life. I’m a stay at home mom and I enjoy every minute of it. My husband works 2 full time jobs so I don’t see him as much as I would like. In our spare time we do direct sales. I sell Paparazzi Accessories. Paparazzi is a line of jewelry and hair accessories that only cost $5. My husband and I also sell Scentsy. Scentsy is a wickless candle system that smells amazing. They also have cleaning supplies and skin care.

My favorite hobby is makeup. I love everything about it. I love how it perks me up when I’m feeling down. I remember as a little girl I would sneak into my parents room and try on all my moms makeup. She mostly wore blue eye shadow, it was the 80’

I’m so excited to start writing about all my loves. I hope everyone joins me on this journey.
