Hey everyone, A couple of weeks ago I did a how to guide on contour, so today I want to do highlighting. Hightlighting is easier than countouring. When you contour you want to create shadows that make your face look thinner. With highlighting you was to “highlight” your features. The common places to highlight are …Continue reading

Makeup of the day-
Thank you to everyone for reading my post.
Since I’m getting older, I’m starting to notice a difference in the color and texture of my skin. I know, it sucks so bad!!! My pores are as deep as the ocean and wrinkles as long as the sea. Wow, that was beautiful but sad..lol.
Anyways, in the past month I’ve started a skin care routine. I’ve never been one to to actually take the time to wash all my makeup off, exfoliate, Moisturize, toner and use face masks. Man was I missing out. I’ve found that my skin care routine not only makes my skin look a million times better but it relaxes me and makes me feel good.
Here is a no makeup selfie-
Here is what I’ve been using-
I’ve been using the Perfectly Post Complexion Perfection exfoliating face wash for about a month now and it makes my skin feel so amazing. The Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser was a gift from my parents for my birthday. So I’ve been switching these every other day.
Every other day I will do a face mask. My favorite right now is the Perfectly Posh Stay Gold face mask. I got this sample of the In The Clear face mask with my Perfectly Posh order and this stuff is no joke. I’ve used it twice and my skin has never been this clean after using a face product before. I only use this once a week because it’s so intense. This will definitely be my next purchase from Perfectly Posh.
Now that my pores are all clean, I use the Pixi Glow Tonic. This was another birthday present from my parents. So, I just started using it but I can already tell a deference in my skin. It’s so much brighter and my complexion is more even.
Last but not least is moisturizing. I’ve been using the Perfectly Posh Moisturize 911 and boy does this make my skin soft. After I put this on, I always ask my husband to feel how soft my skin is, I guess that defeats the purpose of washing my face…lol
There you have it, that’s how I keep my skin looking good or I should say better. I love Perfectly Posh and no this post is not sponsored but I wouldn’t turn it down if they did want to sponsor me..lol. I love them that much. Plus, my Perfectly Posh consultant Amber is amazing. Just click her name and you can check out all the amazing products.
Just remember, your skin is a canvas and you want your canvas to be nice and smooth to lay down your amazing art work. That’s why skin care is so important to me.
