Makeup of the day 1/19

Hey everyone, if you’ve been following my blog than you know I love makeup. My blog started off as a beauty blog. So, of course I’m going to still share my love of makeup

I love bright colorful makeup. Today, I was feeling adventurous and went for a fun mermaid look.

I love this look and my daughter kept calling me a mermaid all day.

E.L.F. Instant Lift Brow Pencil

 Since I have been getting older, my eyebrows have started to disappear. So, I have been on the hunt for a eyebrow miracle. When I came acrossed the E.L.F. Instant Lift Brow Pencil, I thought I would give it a try. I didn’t have high hopes because it was very cheap, only $2. But I should realize that just because something is inexpensive doesn’t mean it’s not a great product. 

 
This brow pencil made my eyebrows look so natural without looking like I had product in my brows. I used the color neutral brown which matched my brows perfectly.  Just finish up with a clear brow gel and you are ready to go. I love finding inexpensive products that work just as well as high end. 

 Is this my miracle that I have been looking for, I don’t know but it’s the closest I have come to one.

Hauling It!!

Yesterday, my daughter and I went shopping and out to lunch with my Mom. We decided to go to Walmart, I wanted to check and see if they had any new E.L.F. Brushes and of course I couldn’t just stop with the brushes.

After Walmart we went to lunch at my favorite Chinese restaurant. Yum!!! Then we went to Kohls, I had $20 in Kohls cash to blow. I’m so happy that Kohls now sells some prestige cosmetics. I wanted to check out theBalm because I have read so many amazing reviews, I wanted to try it out for myself.

• theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer. I’m not gonna lie, I’m very excited about this highlighter.

I’m so happy that I could find good products and save money. My husband likes when I save money too..lol
