Burrito Bowl Recipe

Hey everyone, I made this amazing burrito bowl recipe yesterday and it was so yummy, that I have to share it.

• 1 pound of ground beef
• Half an onion chopped
• 1 can of corn drained
• 1 can of black beans drained and rinsed
• 1 can of kidney beans drained and rinsed
• 1 can of rotel
• 1 packet of taco seasoning
• 1 packet of ranch seasoning
• 1 cup of rice.. I used brown rice
• Chicken or beef broth

Brown the ground beef and onions, drain grease. Add all ingredients and cover in the broth. Simmer and stir occasionally, so it doesn’t burn. Once the rice is cooked, its ready to serve. If all the liquid cooks off and the rice is still not cooked all the way, just add more broth or water.

I added cheese and sour cream to mine. Only 341 calories without the topping and its so yummy.

I Heart ColourPop!!!

Hey everyone!!

It’s been almost a year ago that my love affair with ColourPop began. It started out with a highlighter, eyeshadow and a lippie stix and has slowly grown. My ColourPop collection in not as big as I make it sound but one day it will be huge..lol

Here is my little ColourPop collection.
Let’s start with the highlighter-

Lunch MoneyI recently talked about this highlighter in a past highlighter favorites post. So of course I love this highlighter. It gives your cheek bones a beautiful glow. 

Next the eyeshadows-

From left to right- Stereo(Metallic) Nillionaire(Metallic) Rumer Has It Swan(Satin Luxe)Without Flash

With Flash

These are gorgeous eye shadows. The only thing that I don’t like is that Nillionaire has chunky bits in it making it hard to blend.

Out of the three Stereo is my favorite. With all the new palettes that I recently purchased, I always forget about these but I need to start remembering because these are fantastic.

Last but not least are the Lippie Stixs-

I love all these colors. They are rich and pigmented and last a long time on the lips. The only thing I don’t like is the way the matte feels on my lips but I really don’t like the way any matte lipstick feels on my lips. I also find that I need to exfoliate my lips before applying. I do highly recommend these lippie stixs.
That’s it for my ColourPop collection. It’s not big but one day it will be, mark my word..lol
