Makeup of The Day!! 2/16/18

Hey everyone,

Yesterday I was supposed to go on a date with my husband but we decided to go to his parents for dinner instead. I still wanted to do my makeup all pretty. So, I decided to use my Too Faced Bon Bon Palette. I haven’t shown this palette love in awhile.

I went for a more natural look but added a little bit of sparkle to my lids.

Here’s what I used-

I used Almond Truffle and Cashew Chew in the crease. Satin Sheets on the lid and then Mocha and Bordeaux on the outer corner. On the bottom lash line I used Almond Truffle and Bordeaux.

I used 1993 from my Urban Decay lip palette.

A very easy look using one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes.

What’s your favorite eyeshadow palette?

Wet n Wild Eye Look!!!

Hey everyone,

I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day. My husband brought dinner home, which was amazing. Love him more everyday.

So, I did this look awhile ago when I first purchased the Wet n Wild in Not A Basic Peach palette and forgot to share.

This palette is so pigmented and blends wonderfully. The colors are great for blue eyes. Wet n Wild’s eyeshadow palettes are amazing.

I love how they threw in the blue shade. It’s great for adding a pop of color to your lower lash line.

I mostly used the two peach shades. Which I’m sure you can tell..lol. I then used the darkest shade in my outer corner and the blue shade on my lower lash line. I also placed the dark pink shimmer shade on my inner half of my lib but you couldn’t really tell I had any shimmer on my lid.

I added some black liner to my waterline and some mascara. Very easy!!!

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in the color Ruler on my lips.

Hopefully I will be posting more makeup looks and reviews. Thanks for reading my post.

A little bit about me!

Update!!!!!

Wow!!! It’s been almost 2 years since I started my blog. So I thought I would give everyone an update on my first blog post.

My daughter Mattie is almost 3 now. It’s so crazy, it seems like just yesterday I was writing about her being 10 months old.

My husband still works two jobs but one of those jobs is new. It’s very exciting because he loves his new job.

I no longer sell paparazzi jewelry but we do still sell Scentsy. We’ve been selling Scentsy for 2 years and still love it.

Check out our website- www.spencerscents.scentsy.us

My favorite hobby is still makeup. I don’t think I will ever stop loving it. Is that weird? Lol

One thing that’s new is that I’m starting a health journey. I had the gastric sleeve a year and a half ago and I still have a lot of weight to lose. It’s so easy to put weight on but very hard to take it off.

That’s about it, nothing has changed that much in two years. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or bad thing lol

Thanks for reading my posts. Wow!! 2 years of blogging.

Hello everyone!! My name is Amanda. I’m a wife and a mother to an adorable 10 month old little girl named Mattie Elizabeth. My family is my life. I’m a stay at home mom and I enjoy every minute of it. My husband works 2 full time jobs so I don’t see him as much as I would like. In our spare time we do direct sales. I sell Paparazzi Accessories. Paparazzi is a line of jewelry and hair accessories that only cost $5. www.paparazziaccessories.com/31632. My husband and I also sell Scentsy. Scentsy is a wickless candle system that smells amazing. They also have cleaning supplies and skin care. www.spencerscents.scentsy.us

My favorite hobby is makeup. I love everything about it. I love how it perks me up when I’m feeling down. I remember as a little girl I would sneak into my parents room and try on all my moms makeup. She mostly wore blue eye shadow, it was the 80’s..lol.

I’m so excited to start writing about all my loves. I hope everyone joins me on this journey.

LipSense Review 💄

Hey everyone,

If you know me, then you know that lip products are my favorite makeup item. So when my friends started talking about LipSense, I just had to try it. I’m not a distributor but I do love the product.

What is LipSense- It is a long lasting lip color. It’s not a lipstick or a stain. It’s a completely different product that bonds with your lips on a molecular level.

What is in LipSense- LipSense is made from natural materials that are good for your skin. It’s made in the USA and contains no wax, lead, gluten, animal byproducts or GMO’s. It’s also vegan and cruelty free.

How long does it last- One application of LipSense can last 4-18 hours. One tube of LipSense can last up to 6 months if you were to use the same color everyday. One tube equals to 4 tubes of lipstick.

How do you apply LipSense-

I currently own 3 colors of LipSense. Starting from the top- Roseberry, Lexie Beary and Fly Girl. So far Roseberry is my favorite.

I suck at swatches and those are going to be on my arm all day..lol

When you first order LipSense you buy the starter kit. In the starter kit you receive the color of your choice, glossy lipgloss and oops remover. The starter kit costs $55. After you order the starter kit the lip color is $25 and lipglosses are $20.

If throughout the day your lips start to feel dry, just apply some of the lipgloss and the dry feeling will disappear.

I’ve really fallen in love with LipSense. I love that it’s long lasting, especially since I’m a busy mom and don’t have time to be worrying about my lipstick rubbing off on my daughter. I can literally kiss her all day and won’t see any of my LipSense on her face lol.

One thing I do need is more colors. They have over 70, so I shouldn’t have a hard time find more colors to love 💕< strong>My friend Becky is my LipSense “dealer”. She’s gorgeous, sweet and knows everything about LipSense and all the other amazing products from Sengence. Here is the link to her Facebook group https://m.facebook.com/groups/109195349654856< strong>Becky is always posting about new colors and products, plus she does some amazing giveaways. If you want to learn more about LipSense, please check out her group.< strong>I do have to say that this is not a sponsored post. Even though I wish it was lol< strong>Have you tried LipSense? What are your thoughts?< strong>Thanks your reading my post💕

Wet N Wild Eyeshadow Palette Look and Review!!

Hey everyone,

How’s everyone today? Here in Michigan it’s snowing like crazy. I’m sick of winter..lol

If you read my last post then you know that I just bought the New Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes. I’ve been playing with them a lot and I love them. I think Wet N Wild in general is an amazing company. They make wonderful products and keep them affordable.

So, I will start with the look I did using mostly Wet n Wild products.

I started out by priming my face with Wet n Wild Coverall face primer

Next I used the Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation

Next I used the Megaglo Concealer stick and blush stick.

After that I used the Halo liquid highlighter on my cheekbones.

I set everything with the Wet n Wild Photofocus pressed powder.

My eyebrows were next. I used Makeup Revolution eyebrow palette.

I primed my eyelids with the Wet n Wild eye primer.

I used the new Wet n Wild Rośe All Day eyeshadow palette.

I used the dusty rose shade in my crease and the dark rose shade on my lids. Then I put the dark burnt orange shade on my lower lash line. I used the lightest shade as my brow bone highlight.

I sprayed my face with the NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray

I used the Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara and then finished off the look with Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in the shade Lover

I really like the new Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes. The formula is wonderful. They are very pigmented and blend wonderfully. I love the color selections, you don’t normally see those types of shades in drugstore eyeshadows. I definitely recommend trying these palettes out for yourself. They are only $4.99!!!!

Thanks for ready my post.

Small Drugstore Makeup Haul-1/26/18

Hey everyone,

I’m back!! I feel like I haven’t wrote in forever. Well, that’s going to change. 2018 is the year of Amanda!!!

To start off the year of Amanda, I decided to pick up some makeup while I was grocery shopping. I also had a coupon..lol

Let’s get started-

I wrote in my last post, how much I have these Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink. So of course I had to pick up another one. This is in the shade Ruler.. because I rule lol

I have been searching for these eyeshadow palettes from Wet n Wild since they came out. I found them at Kroger.. so weird lol

I have heard these are really good. I can’t wait to put these to the test myself. The colors are gorgeous and are perfect for me. The palettes I bought are, not a perfect peach and rośe in the air.

That’s it..lol. I told you it was a small haul.

Have you tried the Wet n Wild palettes? What are your thoughts?

Thank you for reading my post.

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink- Review

Hey everyone,

How’s everyone doing? If you’re in Michigan, I bet you have been freezing..lol. While I have been trying to stay warm, I have also been trying out the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Lipstick.

I recently bought the shade in Lover. It’s a really pretty mid tone pink.

Maybelline’s website-

BENEFITS

Ink your lips in up to 16 HR saturated liquid matte. SuperStay Matte Ink™ features a unique arrow applicator for precise application and is available in a range of super saturated shades.

I applied the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink at 9am. It was a little tacky for maybe a half an hour but after that it dried Matte.

The first hour or so it would transfer onto my cup but after that, I didn’t notice it transferring anymore. It stayed put really well.

Here it’s been 8 hours since I applied the liquid lipstick. Obviously my makeup doesn’t look very good but the liquid lipstick still looks good. You can see a little bit of wear on the center of my bottom lip but my lips are always really dry and I think that reflects that in this picture more than the liquid lipstick coming off.

Conclusion-

I think that if this liquid lipstick lasted 16 hours it would look pretty rough. I do think that it’s long lasting and did an amazing job of not rubbing off when I ate or drank. I would definitely recommend this lipstick and will be purchasing more shades very soon.

What are your thoughts on Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink?

Thank you for reading my post!!

Makeup Haul!!

Hey everyone,

It’s been a hot minute since I bought any new makeup. I’ve been having withdrawals, especially seeing all the amazing new products that are now available. So here is my first small haul of the new year. I will be doing reviews on these products soon.

Wet n wild hello halo liquid highlighter- I was so excited when I finally found these at Rite Aide. I bought the 2 lightest shades in halographic & halo, goodbye.

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in lover. I’ve heard so many good things about this liquid lipstick.

Maybelline total temptation mascara in very black- I wonder how this will stack up against my favorite Lash Paradise Mascara. Maybe I will have to do a comparison.

That’s my small haul. I can’t wait to play with this new makeup and do some reviews.

Thanks for reading my post.

New Years Resolutions 2018!!!

Hey everyone,

Happy New Year!!! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday. Our family had a wonderful time. My husband was off work and was able to spend a lot of time with Mattie and me. It was very nice.

So usually my New Years resolution is to lose weight, which I will be changing to living a healthy lifestyle. I have realized that I don’t do good with diets. I always feel like a failure if I don’t lose weight and I hate feeling that way about myself. So no more of that.

I will also be getting into essential oils. I just signed up with Young Living and I’m so excited to get started. I’ve seen how amazing these oils are and can’t wait to start incorporating them into my family’s life.

I also want to be more present. I get distracted so easily. I really need to focus on putting my phone down and spending more time with my family.

That’s what I’m going to be focusing on this year.

What is one for your New Years resolutions?

Thanks for reading my post.

Another Year Down!!

Hey everyone,

2017 has flown by, I feel like it was the shortest year yet. Which I’m sure you all have heard a million times already.

So, I thought I would share some highlights from my 2017-

  • My daughter turned 2
  • My husband and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary.
  • I became an aunt again.
  • My husband started a new job.
  • We bought a new car
  • We got a new cat named Beckham

We’ve had so many blessings in 2017. I’m so excited to see what 2018 will bring. Thanks for spending part of 2017 with me.
