Highlighter on Fleek- Favorite Highlighters!!

Hey everyone!!

It looks like it’s going to be a dreary day here in Michigan. So what better way to brighten up the day, then with some bright, shiny and blinding highlighters. That’s right, today we are going to talk highlighters. All my favorite highlighters all in one place. I hope they don’t get jealous of each other.

Let’s start on with my favorite cream highlighters-


ColourPop on the right, Essence on the left 

My two favorite cream highlighters are ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Lunch Money and Essence Soo Glow in Look on the Bright Side.

ColourPop was my very first cream highlighter. I love it!! I especially like to put a powder on top of the cream highlighter to make it so it’s seen from space. I’m just scared that one day Aliens will land on my face..lol 

I really like the Essence highlighter because it’s cream to powder, plus it give your skin a gorgeous glow and I’m all about the glow.

Next is my favorite powder highlighters-


Starting from the right is the Wet n Wild, Mary-Lou Manizer and Makeup Revolution 

These are my three favorite powder highlighters. Wet n Wild in Precious Petals, theBalm in Mary-Lou Manizer and Makeup Revolution in Golden Lights.

Powder highlighters are my favorite and ever since I learned to spray my setting spray before putting I got on my powder highlighters, it’s been a game changer. 

One thing I like about powder highlighters is that you can build them up. With cream highlighters they can sometimes get cakey and nobody want a cake face. (Thanks a lot, now I want cake..lol)

Highlighting is starting to become a step in my makeup routine that I can’t live without. If you haven’t tried highlighting, you need to jump on the band wagon.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing this! I’ve been in search of some good affordable highlighters so I’ll have to check the drugstore ones out. I’ve been in search for the WNW one for a while now..you are very lucky 🙂 Also thanks for the tip about setting spray before highlighter…I’ve never heard of that before! Does it help keep the highlighter in place?

    • You’re very welcome!! I hate that the Wet n Wild one is limited edition but I have heard that may put them in their permanent line. The setting spray makes your highlighters stand out even more and I usually spray my setting spray after I put on the highlighter. So setting spray, highlighter, and setting spray. If you try this out let me know how you like it. 🙂

    • It’s really good but there are so many highlighters on the market these days that are just as good or better. Since I have wrote this post, I have fallen in love with the Makeup Revolution highlighters. They are amazing and I think they only cost $8.
